The US \u00a0National Parks Services\u00a0is at it&#8217;s wits end on this &#8220;invasion&#8221; and do not know how to mitigate it. \u00a0This is not a small thing to take lightly, <strong>BUT there IS an\u00a0answer and a solution to this problem.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dlXOG9CB70I\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">What is this stuff?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Is it dirt, mold, good, bad? Temporary or Permanent? Where did it come from?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kinda reminds me of the 80&#8217;s movie <strong><em>Invasion of the Body Snatchers<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Is it just native to <strong>Washington, DC<\/strong> or is it a common <strong>black bacteria<\/strong> that <strong>COVERS the WORLD?<\/strong>\u00a0We know it is unsightly and is it causing damage, and <strong>HOW<\/strong> do we eradicate this stuff?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I was recently in <strong>Israel<\/strong> and seen there, I&#8217;ve been to <strong>DC,<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Louisiana, Texas, Florida, North and South Carolina, Seattle,WA<\/strong>, and live \u00a0right here in <strong>Northern California.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although, I\u00a0have not personally inspected the DC Memorials\u00a0myself, I have a feeling I know what this strange SLIME and <strong>Biofilm<\/strong> is. In my opinion, it more than likely is a cyanobacteria called <strong>Gloeocapsa Magma<\/strong>, a black bacteria that is anywhere and everywhere we live. \u00a0We know that this bacteria, when not dried out, will facilitate MOSS and Algae build up. \u00a0Once this bacteria spawns and continues to multiply, it starts to &#8220;RUN&#8221; and &#8220;Streak down&#8221; the building, causing the BLACK MARKS on the sides of the building, YOUR HOUSE and Gutters&#8230; called TIGER Stripes.<br \/>\n(READ this article for the Solution: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.californiamosscontrol.com\/nomoss\/professional-roof-cleaner\"><strong>Professional Roof Cleaner<\/strong><\/a>)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This bacteria settles on your roof, sidewalks, park benches, playground equipment, lawn furniture, driveway&#8230; basically, again, everywhere&#8230; and YES, IT DOES CAUSE DAMAGE to the surface of the stone, tile, concrete finish.
